Adventures

K went on a field trip today. She climbed a mountain, climbed 20 feet high on ropes, went on a creature hunt and played games. She said the food was nasty. The grilled cheese was hard, the sandwiches were frozen and the beef was "pretty much a hunk of fat". Very unedible - which is why she ate frozen sandwiches! They got back at 8:30ish.

While we were at the school waiting for her, S and J played on the play area. It is not really built for people J's age, but he consistently tried to gather up his courage to go down a long slide. There was another boy there who was very nice and encouraged J to try the slide. It worked and he did it! Then he did it over and over until K came. :)

I would like to say they are now in bed and off to dreamland, but they had to have a quick snack before bed.

I guess older people (that would be me in this case) put the priority on sleep and not food at this time of night. Oh well.
