Last week when Wayne went shopping, he came home with Twinkies. (For all of those who don't know, Wayne does all of the grocery shopping! I must be the luckiest person ever!)
We have never had Twinkies in the house as I think they are very gross and horrible for you as well.
J. was home last Friday due to a Dr.'s appt. When we were unloading the groceries, I explained to him that Twinkies aren't good for you. I may have said that too many might make you fat (I don't remember.)
Anyway, later the entire family was together and J. was telling his sisters about the Fat Cakes!
They had absolutely no idea what he was talking about, but I told them that he must mean Twinkies and why J. must have started to call them that.
Now we often call Twinkies "Fat Cakes".
